500 gramset-yoghurt
1 pinchsaffron-threads
3 1/2 table-spoonsugar
8 numberpistachio
6 numberalmond

Shreekhand is a very popular dessert in Maharashtra/Gujarat. It can be served with hot puris to make a delicious breakfast.

  1. Hang 500 gm set yoghurt overnight.
  2. Then add 3.5 tablespoon sugar and generous pinch of saffron in it in the morng . Whisk well.
  3. Keep refrigerated until serving. Keep it in the fridge for Atleast an hour so that saffron can bleed and give a brilliant color.
  4. Garnish with choice of nuts at serving time. I use pista and almond flakes.
  5. Enjoy this luscious dessert
