4 largerohu-fish-pieces
1 table-spoonturmeric-powder
2 mediumchopped-onions
1/2 table-spoonchopped-ginger
1 numbergreen-chilli
1 mediumlime-juice
1 pinchsalt-to-taste
2 table-spoonmustard-oil
1 table-spoonghee-clarified-butter
1 table-spoonchopped-coriander

Serve with Indian bread or rice.

  1. Rub turmeric and 1/2 tablespoon salt on the piece of fish and keep aside.
  2. In a pan heat 4 tablespoo of mustard oil and shallow fry untill cooked. Remove from the pan and place it on a plate and mash the fish carefully and take out the bones, if any..
  3. Now in a pan pour ghee and sauté the onion until it become soft. Remove it from the pan and spread it on the mashed fish.
  4. Add Ginger, green chillies, lime juice, little salt and mustard oil in it fish and mix well.
