|1 3/4 cup||all-purpose-flour-or-plain-flour|
|1 1/2 teaspoon||baking-powder|
|1 1/2 teaspoon||baking-soda|
An indulgent chocolatey chocolate cake; combine with strawberries and cream for a truly decadent dessert.
Use a wooden spoon to combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla extract. Beat at medium speed fir 2 minutes or until the mixture is smooth. Stir in the boiling water. Batter will be runny. Divide equally between the two pans. Bake for 30 - 35 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean. Cool in tins for 10 minutes and then remove onto a wire rack to cool completely before icing. Once cool, spread some of the ganache on one layer and top with the second. Spread the remaining ganache over the outside of the cake. Top with Maltesers and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
